IM BACK!!!

a short summary of the camp...

Day1/Night1:

The camp was immediately after lessons, so everyone went to council room only at 5. first event was to break the ice, by playing double wacko and human bingo. in the end, i had to perform 30 push ups in front of everyone because of the game.. but the main event of the night was night walk. yea.. so the j1s had to go to various stations looking for the j2 councillors who were hiding. so carmen, alvin, melvin and i were stationed outside beethoven's room. i was supposed to be hiding underneath the benches and jump out to grab people's legs when they walked past, but i managed to do that successfully for only 1 group, causing stephanie to scream.. after a while, switched places with carmen, who was hiding in the bush, and thats where something happened to me.. i began to feel suffocation due to the lack of air there, and i also had the feeling that 'someone' or 'something' was behind me. YJ is such a creepy place afterall, so i could have been imagining things.. after just one group found me, i couldn't stand it any longer and had to come out of my hiding place. rested at the Garden of Life for a while before proceeding to the quadrangle. by the time i reached the podium, i was on the verge of being knocked out, so i just laid there till the game debrief for the j1s was over. while lying there, i could faintly hear that the J1s had heard noises on the third floor even though none of us were up there, and that level and beyond were inaccesible by anyone. they said that someone was playing with pong balls up there. even some of the j2s heard it, so i doubt this piece of information was made up. anyway, after the debrief for the day with the j2s and amrit, i was persuaded to go to sleep by ms suryati. i had really wanted to stay up that night, cause i wanted to see those 'things'.

Day 2:

woke up at 530, full of energy after a good night's rest. after the morning PT and breakfast, the j1s were supposed to go to their talks about leadership. but before that, Shermaine had planned a game for them. they were supposed to fall in and out in different ranks, and there was also this game where they were to form a circle, and the j2s were supposed to pull them out. the games were quite rough, but it was supposed to teach them the sense of urgency, and the importance of teamwork. throughout this time, all the j2s were supposed to look fierce (which is something im good at:P), and seeing certain people with fierce expressions on their face was really funny la.. haha.. after the j1s left for their talk, the j2s went to prepare for the station games. after the games, we j2 councillors went to have a really long debate on who should be in the 23rd exco, which lasted even after lunchtime. after that, went to type the minutes for the discussion while the rest went to prepare for the finale performance. and by the time im done, the performance was already finished and the j2s went to have a conversation with sam and dexter from 20th and kevin and amrit from 19th. i felt that something they said was very true.. even after we leave council, we should continue to maintain contacts with not only people from our batch, but also our successors..

Night 2:

after the dinner and bath, everyone went for the Arts Fusion concert by dance, mcs, ics and eldds. during the interval, went to talk to a certain someone. maybe i was too engrossed in work, so much that i have neglected the beauty of life. but im going to step down soon. perhaps then, i can look at the brighter side of life. i still dunno why we broke up then, but i guess it was because of my change in perspective after i joined council..

after the performance, j2s went to prepare for the next game. but i got a little emo from the convo and seperated myself from the rest of the group, cos i wanted to spend some time alone. but i dunno if it is good or bad..

good: the council is very bonded..
bad: the council is too bonded..

haha.. even when i want to spend some time alone, theres no way i can do that during council. anyway, had the balloon fire game before going off for reflections.

didnt really sleep that night, attempted to do work but ended up talking to crystal when she approached me -.- in the end, talked until 3 before falling asleep and woke up only at 5 to chase crys back to her bunk and going off to prepare for the next day..

Day 3:

nothing much on the last day, except that there were prize presentations and photo taking sessions.. went back to council room to have a final session of photos before being chased out of school by the teachers.. AND we FINALLY got our letter of appointment, ONE YEAR AFTER our investiture.. omg...

haha.. and thats the end of the camp.. and we have unofficially stepped down from council. we'll most probabaly be passing most of our duties to them form now on.. only during the investiture will they officially take over us.
