SOAR in YJC ; challenge the ordinary

thats the theme for this year's orientation, and sad to say, it has come to an end. it was indeed a very wonderful and memorable time for me.. made new friends in both the jc2 and jc1 cohorts.. got to know more people, especially my beloved OG5!!!!!!!!!!! :)))))))))))))))

being in the planning comm was definitely a once in a lifetime opportunity... okay....... maybe twice in a lifetime opportunity. the first one planned last year for JAE, can be considered a failure.. but this must be the best of the three i've been involved in.

the orientation ended with a bang with the YAR - Yishun Amazing Race.. during the race, i really ran the race of my life as i ran against the bus.. obviously, i won.. haha!! overall, we were the first team to arrive in yj at 3 pm, almost half an hour before the next team arrive lah.. haha.. and we were third overall for all the games!!!!

mass dance finale.. final couple dance and mass dance.. had to be away during the couple dance, so sadded.. but i came back just in time for the mass dance.. all the ogls were asked to go on stage. it was kinda sad for me cos its just sad when u are doing something for the last time lah..

seriously, this orientation was one of the best. the best of all the jcs, i dare say.. the hard work of the ogls and the enthusiasm of the freshmen were commendable. the best parting gift we can give to mr ong..

sigh.. orientation has ended, and school resumes.. block test starts on this coming friday.. but i dun really care la.. haha!! quoted from meifong: "if this is gonna be exchanged or SSP, i think its worthwhile." true indeed.. there has never been anything as good as this..
