i think i shall continue with the Italian part of my trip now.. and is shall let the pictures do most of the talking.

so.. as i said a few posts ago, the last place i visited in Switzerland was Matterhorn, the mountain you see on the packaging on the tolberone chocolate.. from there, we preoceeded towards, Milan, Italy. there were some nice sceneries in Switzerland on the way to Italy. but too bad it was getting dark, and i couldn't take any photos at all..

DAY 6

there isn't much to see in Milan, except for its cathedral.. and that was exactly why we were there.. to visit the cathedral of Milan.

even their shopping malls seem to be built for giants!!

that about sums up all that there is to see for tourists in Milan.. next stop, Verona, the place where the legend of Romeo and Juliet begin..

the world's oldest stadium that is still in use.. around 2000 years of age.. hmm, maybe they shouldn't get rid of the national stadium..

then we were off to Venice, the water city... the place that could well face extinction thanks to global warming..

DAY 7

sigh... venice, veice, venice.. no words can be used to describe it.. so, more pictures :)

oh.. and did i mention? i had the best pasta i had ever tasted in Venice!! it may not look very presentable, but its nice!!

ohwell, thats about all for Venice..

i think i shall stop here for now.. its 2pm already.. i shall blog about Florence, Pisa, Siena, Orvieto, Rome, and Vatican City the next time..
